Noosa’s Main Beach follows Noosa’s most prestigious Hastings Street, with never-ending shopping and dining experiences to explore after a day on the sand!

First Point

Protecting Noosa Main Beach from the wind, First Point is a local’s favourite! First Point is nestled between Noosa Main Beach and Little Cove Beach, one of the best spots in Noosa to watch the sunset and sky change between fiery and pastel colours.

Fun sized waves has made First Point home to the Noosa Festival of Surfing each year, with ten days of ‘pure stoke’ and good times for the longboarding community.

What started as Noosa’s “hidden gem” has now become local and holiday makers favourite spot for relaxing seaside. Little Cove is nestled back behind two surf points of Noosa, creating a ‘private, secluded beach’ feeling – the perfect spot to set up for a day of sunshine and Vitamin SEA.

Tea Tree Bay

Located within the Noosa National Park, Tea Tree Bay is a short 15 minute walk from Noosa Main Beach. Take the Coastal walking track & follow until you reach this beautiful hidden cove. You will find fun-sized waves by the points of Tea Tree Bay, with calm swimming conditions for those wanting a quick dip after your morning walk.

Surf lovers – this one is for you! Sunshine Beach is located a short 10 minute drive from Noosa Heads, accessible via Noosa National Park’s coastal walking track or bus. This small coastal town is where you will find most locals, escaping the crowds! Get yourself a coffee from one of the funky cafés before catching some waves.

For those wanting to catch some sun rays and cool off in peace… Sunrise Beach is located next to Sunshine Beach, and is most certainly another local’s favourite! There is nothing like having 500 metres of sand all to yourself, while listening to the waves crash against the shore. Admire the hang gliders launching into the sky from behind the dunes, while the surfers jump into a wave or two. Sunrise Beach is perfect for a fun day by the sea!

Noosa North Shore

Noosa North Shore is accessible via 4 X 4 vehicles only, connecting you to the sights of Red Canyon, Double Island Point, Rainbow Beach and Fraser Island. The vehicle access ferry is just 15 minutes from Noosa Heads, opening you up to endless adventures! Take a day trip and watch the marine life play around Double Island Point and explore the one of a kind coloured sands at Rainbow Beach! Noosa North Shore offers camping areas for those wanting to ‘escape to nature’ after your Noosa holiday.
